Can one individual decide what kind of sensation your taste buds will have when you sample the same dish from the same restaurant?

I say no. Some people love liver and onions and some lothe it.

Of course, this topic had to come from somewhere, so I will get to the point. Tiki Trios put a guest book on the main page so that people could let us know what they think, good or bad. The positive comments really make us feel good, however the "bad" comments help us grow. We cannot fix things if we do not know they are broken. If you have a problem with Tiki Trios please tell us so that we can fix the problem.

Beyond the guestbook on Tiki Trios home page, management checks through other web listings for Tiki Trios such as, the Yahoo and Google listings. In our search we found this review on Urbanspoon:

"Seriously bad pizza" by Emily Auth (19 reviews)
March 21, 2010 - Doesn't like it - With all the great locally owned pizza joints in Kokomo, this is the last place I'd go. The sauce was very bland and the crust is similar to a saltine cracker. I was disappointed with the quality of toppings and the price.

I'd recommend Gambino's over Tiki Trios.

Wow! No business owner wants to read something like this about his or her business. We read the other 18 restaurant reviews writen by Emily, and they all appear to be an unbiased opinion of the reviewed establishments.

However, her review of Tiki Trios just does not add up.

The sauce is bland?

We have had complaints that our sauce was too spicey. We have cut back on our seasonings, and those costumers now approve.

The crust is similar to a saltine cracker?

Tiki Trios has always used a medium thickness crust. Pizza King has a thin crust similar to a saltine cracker, but I am not going to knock that because many people like that type of crust.

Disappointed with the quality of the toppings?

Well, I guess I could best answer this with a quote:

"Tiki Trios Pizzeria is relatively new to the westside.  It is located next to the Forest Park shopping center at 2114 W. Sycamore. Their signature pizza is the Omnivore.  And I must say, the name says it all.  This pizza has 7 meats and 6 vegetable toppings!  Yes, I said 13 toppings."

"In my opinion, this has to be the most loaded pizza in Howard County."

These snippits came from an article writen by Kim Morgan with the
Kokomo Visitors Bureau, I believe, in March of this year.

We cannot discount the experience that Emily had because we have not spoken with her, but her comments do not add up to the standards that we have set for our product (fresh vegetables and hearty toppings); and most importantly, our costumers tell us that they appreciate our food quality as well as its quantity.
